The Port of Halifax welcomes cruise passengers from all over the globe as part of the Canada/New England Cruise itinerary or transatlantic voyages from UK and Europe. 2008 will see more than 215,000 cruise passengers visit Atlantic Canada's marquee Port of Call — Halifax. Passengers will be treated to a special welcome and farewell program featuring members of the 78th Highland Regiment of the Halifax Citadel.
